My blog is moving

Hello you lovely lot!

I've never been satisfied with this blog since I started it. I tried to write about things I liked, and actually I like some of my old posts, but I really don't like the majority of them. I've never felt that this blog belonged to me.
Then, for a while I lost all my inspirations, so what could I have written here? The answer is nothing. No inspiration = no blog posts.

But now I started new hobbies, I have plenty of ideas, so I'll continue writing but on another blog, because I'm not satisfied with this one. It's like it's got a weird feel to it.
My new blog is going to be bilingual, which means the posts are gonna be posted in English, so you can understand, and in Hungarian which is my native language. I'm going to write about life, skincare, makeup, positive thinking, fitness, and fashion.

I hope that at least some of you will follow me on my new experience, and that would be even better if you'd like it. But the last one is totally up to me and I'll do my best to keep you interested.
But if you don't wanna join, it's absolutely okay. The only thing I can - and wanna - do is to wish you the best with your own blog!

So, I may see you on The Tulip Thief

Ps: You can follow my blog only on Bloglovin.

Soyez (Avec) La Personne Qui Vous Rend Heureux

Hello,you  lovely lot!

This week seems to be a very easy and kinda calm week. Me and my friend went to the best confectionary in town and we tried the oh-so-famous macarons for the very firts time. I also had a strawberry mousse, and she had a slice of chocolate-banana pie. Everything was incredibly delicious, except the vanilla-lavender macaron...

Then we went to a Chinese restaurant in downtown, called Tao, where I had some tofu steaks and she had chicken with onion. Both were delicious.

This week has been lovely so far. How do you spend your week?

Contact Lenses vs. Glasses

I have been wearing glasses for 8-9 years and I hate it. I've always hated wearing glasses and I've never worn it in public. Having to wear glasses just killed my confidence. I rather chose to see a lot worse.
Having the first pair of glasses is an expensive experience, but you have to pay the price once and if you take care of them, it does you a good turn.
On the other hand, having contact lenses is a lot more expensive. You have to pay a nice amount of money every three, six or twelve months. You also have to get the liquid that you will store your lenses in, and since you have to renew the solution every day, you can run out of it very quickly. Let me tell you, the solution isn't cheap either.

The only good thing I can say about glasses is what I already mentioned above. You have to pay the price once. I hate wearing glasses in public, I never do. That's why I decided to get my first pair of contact lenses about a year ago. Well, that was my Christmas present in 2011.
Choosing, and trying on the lenses for the first time was terrible. The optometrist put the lenses in which was horrible, nobody loves people touching their eyes... And I have to take them off, and repeat it. Putting in, taking off, putting in, taking off. My eyes were red, tears were coming, and my nose was running. Sounds great, eh? (Oh, here's my hidden Canadian self...haha)
Taking off the lenses was difficult even after two weeks, but it's kinda easy when you get used to it.

Taking care of your lenses is quite tricky. No, it's not tricky at all but it can become annoying. You ALWAYS have to wash your hands before and after you touch your eyes and you should wipe your hands with paper towels. Also, if you wear makeup, you need to clean the lenses before putting it into the solution. If you skip this step, little, teeny tiny pieces of mascara or eyeshadow go into the solution, and let me tell you, it is going to hurt next time you want to use your lenses.
Another important information is that you shouldn't wash your face, take a shower, or take a bath while your lenses are in. I was warned by the optometrist when I got the first pair, but last year when I went on a holiday, one night I totally forgot about my contacts and went taking a shower. After that, I tried to take them off but it felt like it was glued to my eyeballs. It hurt as well, I became panicky and almost started crying but finally I just laid down and tried to blink a lot to make my eyes a bit wetter. It helped, I was able to take them off then.

If you don't like wearing glasses and can afford contact lenses, I'd suggest you to get some. You have to take care of it carefully which can be annoying for the first time, but when you get used to it, it will be a part of your daily routine.

If you have any questions about contact lenses, I'm here to answer them!

Shine So Bright

Lush Shine So Bright hair balm £ 4.50/10g

I purchased this hair balm in December when lots of products were on sale at Lush. Though, this wasn't a Christmas product, I could buy it because it was made before October.

My hair is awfully damaged. I have dyed, blow-dried, straightened my hair for years without using any heat protectant products. I wasn't into taking care of my hair at all, I just wanted it to be straight and coloured, I didn't even know that these kind of things had been invented...

I haven't dyed my hair for more than a year now, but the ends of it are still damaged. It's dry and breaks very easily and I always had to cut it a little bit. But since I wanted to grow my hair, cutting wasn't an option anymore. This is where this product made an appearance in my life, just when I really needed it.
I went to Lush to buy the Christmas products but after the girl in the store, took a look at my hair, she suggested to get this hair balm which is for split ends.
I tried it a few times, not very much as I wash my hair only once a week, but after one use, it already made a difference. I noticed less split ends and it made my hair a little bit softer.
The consistency of the balm seems hard at first, but it melts when it's touched by your fingertips. I have thick hair and lots of it but I need to use just a little amount of the balm to cover the ends of my hair nicely.
The original price of it may seem to be a little high, but in my opinion it's worth it.

It's a very lovely product which I think I'm going to repurchase. If you have dry and damaged hair, I truly suggest you to get this balm.

Have you tried this hair balm yet? Do you like it as much as I do?

Lush 50% Off Sale HAUL

I haven't gone shopping to Lush when the Christmas products arrived earlier this year because I knew there was going to be a huge sale after Christmas and I would be able to get my hand on bubble baths, bath bombs and of course, the best, Snow Fairy.
So the sale has just begun. And yes, I went to the nearest Lush store and bought a few of their limited edition products. Plus, for half the price, you can purchase things that were made before October. Nice, eh?

Magic Wand

I wanted to try this out last year, but I found it too expensive. I wasn't very sure if I really wanted to buy this, but then I was like why the heck not, so I gave it a go, and it came back home with me.
If you haven't already know, it smells exactly like Snow Fairy. Plus, I really like that little bell on it.

Angel's Delight

I love its colours and smell. It literally smells as sweet as gummy bears!

Shine So Bright

These hair treatments were made before October so I could get them for half the original price. To be honest, I don't know anything about it, only that it's good for dry hair and split ends. The girl in the store recommended this after she took a look at my hair. The ends of my hair are very dry and split easily, so I hope it's going to be as good as she said.

Snow Fairy

I don't think I should say anything about it. It smells the same but it's got a new look. Adorable in every way. It's their best Christmas product and I can't wait to use it :)

Did you purchase their limited edition Christmas products? I'm sure there's some kind of sale wherever you live, so go and get some of them while they're avalaible!
